This 6 Piece Canning Tool Set is something that all canners should have and own . The set includes a Wide Mouth Funnel ,Jar Lifter,Magnetic Lid Lifter,Tongs,Bubble Popper/Measuring Stick, and a Lid Remover Wrench (All is listed in the product description at the top of this review). The items seem well made and I would replace them with the same brand if I ever needed to. You get everything you need for canning in this kit. 

Very good quality, nice bright red color makes them hard to misplace.  The funnel is just the right size for standard sized jars. The magnetic wand lifts the lids out of the pot an sets them nicely on the jars. The jar lifters not only make lifting and placing the jars easier (especially the filled ones), and I use the nice long tongs to work with jars that have not been filled. I have had to use the jar opener on stuck lids.

 I have been making jams for a few years now with whatever I had laying around to use and the danger factor was pretty high. I am so thrilled to have these tools now. Especially the jar tongs. Those are life savers in getting my jars out of the processing pot. I had a wide mouth funnel, but having an extra is always a blessing. They seem like unnecessary tools, but as my husband always say, having the right tool for the job makes it go so much easier and it does.

Lid Remover Wrench


Heat-resistant vinyl cushioning helps protect jars from breaking and fingers from burning while you tighten the outer lid rings. Once the seal is complete, it helps remove the rings for reuse and to extend their life.
