The headset has a red light in each ear with the branding and logo, the mic has a red light on the tip of it which is a good feature.You just need to plug the USB and my Windows 8.1 detected it and you are good to go . The sound quality was quite nice also. It is truly high definition stereo speaker. It was not crackling nor cutting out. The mic is the same, talking over the game I have yet to have a problem with anyone misunderstanding me. The headset isn't heavy and doesn't feel cheap. It fits on my head perfectly and does not slide off . Great price, great looks, great sound.
